Rebecca Woodford
DDS, MD, MSc, FRCD(C)
ABOUT
Optimal patient care is paramount for Dr. Woodford. With extreme passion for her profession, she educates the young generations while offering top-notch treatments to her patients.
Dr. Rebecca Woodford was born in Gander and later moved to Mount Pearl, where she graduated from O’Donel High School. Her approach to oral and maxillofacial surgery is inclusive of her experience as a trained surgeon and her experience as a patient. As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, she is passionate about her patients, providing optimal treatment outcomes and striving to make every patient feel safe, comfortable, and informed through her dedicated focus on patient care. As someone who has personally undergone orthognathic surgery herself, she understands the life-changing transformation that oral and maxillofacial surgery can bring and aims to make a positive difference in each patient that she treats.
After moving out of Newfoundland to pursue her studies, Dr. Woodford is grateful to be back and give back to her home province. She enjoys spending time with her family, who are nearby. She enjoys staying active through sports and outdoor activities, such as soccer, dancing, swimming, music concerts, and travelling — often taking suggestions from patients for new adventures. She hopes to explore more of Newfoundland and Labrador and meet more of its fantastic residents. Additionally, she loves to educate the newest generation of emergency medical residents by teaching and lecturing them a few times each year.
